The book presentation in L\u2019Aquila, Italy, was not only a cultural event but also an opportunity to reflect on the value of fraternity and dialogue.<\/p>\n

The Italian publication \u201cLacrime e Stelle. Per una autobiografia di Chiara Lubich. Gli inizi\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>[Tears and Stars: Towards an Autobiography of Chiara Lubich \u2013 The Beginnings], has been authored by Fr Fabio Ciardi<\/strong> and published by Citt\u00e0 Nuova.<\/p>\n

The evocative Renaissance hall of Palazzo Alfieri in l’Aquila \u2014part of the Micarelli Sisters’ complex\u2014was packed to capacity. An atmosphere of heartfelt engagement marked the presentation of the book which took place on the afternoon of 9 June 2026.<\/p>\n

Note on “Tears and Stars” publication<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this biography, the author lets the protagonist tell her story. The result is a sort of \u201cautobiography,\u201d made possible by the many writings Chiara Lubich left behind as her legacy: notes, diaries, letters, interviews\u2026 many of which were previously unpublished.<\/p>\n
