The period of Silvia’s childhood is linked to an area of the city with a parish rich in religious, cultural and social initiatives. Significant in those years was her relationship with the Sisters of “Maria Bambina”. In the convent not far from the Lubich family home, they welcomed girls and young women in their female oratory. They prepared Silvia for the sacraments.
