Castel Gandolfo, 20 December 1999, Gen Congress, answer to the last question

In 1999, Chiara Lubich met with young people from around the world gathered at the Mariapolis Centre in Castel Gandolfo, Rome. On that occasion, she shared with them the first accounts of the experience she had lived through during the summer of 1949 in Tonadico, in Valle di Primiero, Italy; thus began a mystical and illuminating experience that would come to be known as Paradise ’49.

Throughout Chiara’s account, we rediscover the origins of that gift, and we publish a portion of that historic conversation she held with those young people.
