Il 15 marzo 2025 è stata apposta una stele in onore di Chiara Lubich in Piazza Trieste in prossimità della chiesa di San Paolo Apostolo. E’ seguito il Convegno: “Chiara Lubich, donna del dialogo”. I relatori sono stati Padre Fabio Ciardi e la prof.ssa Lucia Abignente.

Chiara Lubich è diventata cittadina onoraria di Gaeta il 5 aprile 2022. Su proposta del Sindaco Cosmo Mitrano, il Consiglio Comunale votò all’unanimità la delibera con la quale le venne conferita la cittadinanza onoraria.
