Chiara Lubich. De Trento para o mundo: o impacto de uma história 25 e 26 de fevereiro de 2010 Sala della Cooperazionevia Segantini 10, Trento Decorridos dois anos do falecimento de Chiara Lubich, a Universidade da sua cidade natal deseja dedicar a esta ilustre concidadã e à obra por ela realizada um momento de reflexão, baseada nos critérios da investigação científica. Partindo da presuposição de que a excepcional envergadura desta personalidade de relevo internacional se forjou no contexto trentino, a Universidade dos Estudos de Trento tomou a iniciativa de analisar o pensamento e a obra de Chiara Lubich, com o objetivo de reconhecer ali as suas diferentes facetas. O seu pensamento e a sua obra, e, paralelamente, as profundas marcas que o seu compromisso deixou no plano das relações entre os povos, na construção de um percurso de paz e de uma convivência civil honrada, assim como na afirmação de um construtitvo diálogo interreligioso, serão examinados numa perspectiva histórica, sociológica, filosófica e teológica. Io sono la porta…

Aprile 1999 Commento alla Parola di Vita: "Io sono la porta: se uno entra attraverso di me, sarà salvo; entrerà e uscirà e troverà pascolo" (Gv 10,9). Per coloro che ascoltavano Gesù l'immagine della porta era familiare, dal sogno di Giacobbe , alla Gerusalemme dalle porte antiche che Dio ama in modo particolare . Ma sono le parole del Salmo 118,20: "E' questa la porta del Signore, per essa entrano i giusti" che Gesù fa sue, dando ad esse una nuova pienezza di significato. Egli è la porta della salvezza, che introduce ai pascoli dove i beni divini sono liberamente offerti. Egli è l'unico mediatore e per mezzo suo gli uomini hanno accesso al Padre. I am the gate…

April 1999 Commetary on the Word of Life: I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture (Jn 10:9). Those who were listening to Jesus were familiar with the image of the gateway, from the dream of Jacob (“This is the gateway to heaven,” Gen 28:17) to God’s beloved Jerusalem with its ancient portals. Dal diario di Chiara Chiara era nata il 22 gennaio. Giusto in quella data, nel 2000, ha ricevuto a Roma la cittadinanza onoraria.Quella mattina ha scritto sul suo diario: Oggi 80 anni alle 6:30.Oggi la cittadinanza romana!Infinite grazie, Gesù, Padre, Spirito Santo.
